I've used TCF a looooong time ago (back in OS9 days) and was very happy with it for simple home accounts management.
As I don't really "need" it, I've searched for a freeware replacement and found Realbank — not featured at MU: http://www.realworks.fr/logiciels/realbank.html
As it's in French, despite its name, it won't reach a big audience here, but if you're French and need something as close as possible to TCF, the alternatives I found around (Economix, IBank, IFinance, Money or MoneyGuru to name a few) are not very satisfactory, to me: some are too simple, others too complex with amazing graphics I don't need...
In the end, there's also a cheaper "personal" version of TCF, if you need it more than me. ;-)
