Completely useless. After so many years in development I'm both amazed that there's eventually a version 1.x ready and shocked that said version is as littered with bugs and unusable as the betas that have made the rounds over the last half decade.

Hi! Can you tell us which bugs you've encountered using the final version?

If you intend to use this to plan a building that has anything more than basic rectangular rooms then I'd strongly suggest that you try the demo version first before buying. I found that the wall design tools were very basic and unable to cope with the plan that I wanted to create.

We hope that authors could separate 3D and 2D views into 2 free windows AND make a video recorder.

Yes, it does not appear to be in active development. That said, the version I bought like 18 months ago still works fine, and in Lion. I just hope it continues to work because this thing is a great application. For the money, it provides ridiculous value. We're moving our small business to a new office and the layout provided by their space planner was horrible. I wasn't sure we could make the space work. So I got out this app and after 90 minutes of brainstorming, we had a brilliant space layout that blew the new landlord away. Printed it to a PDF to send to their space planner, and the leasing agent said "wow, this is impressive, what app did you use for this?"

Now we've just fine tuned the plan with carpet, furniture to spec, paint to our colors, and we can see very clearly how the new space will look. This has been a VERY good app for us.

Listen, even if it's not being actively developed, it's $30, and for what I've used it for, seriously, I would've paid 5-10 times that much.

I just hope they don't let this die on the vine. I'd be seriously bummed if a new OS broke it.

I purchased this app in December 2009… 15 months later I continue to wait for the final release as it's still in beta. I wonder if development is ongoing, and if so, when the final release is coming out… :(

The dev website makes this program look very enticing. Since I am searching for such a program, I wonder if you could tell me if the beta versions have continued to improve. I do see that a new beta version was released in Dec 10, however, I also note that while all their other programs are avail in the MacApp Store, this one is not. Suggestions/Comments anyone?

I noted the same. Haven't used the app for over a year now and not seen any development since December 2010. For a program that's purportedly in active development this is not a good sign. I reckon I wasted my money on this turkey…:(
