Adds support for 200+ phones to iSync.

Overview

iSync plugins... Choose from 295 cell phones to synchronize contacts and dates with your Mac OS X computer using iSync.
  • The brand new iSync plugins version supports cell phones from major manufacturers to synchronize your data using iSync-Apple's hot synchronisation software built into every modern Mac computer.
  • iSync plugins are extremely easy to use. Select your cell phone model from the list of available plugins and with one click it is added to work with iSync.
  • You can even use the iSync plugins if you are not working with Address Book or iCal. As long as your personal information management program is talking to the systems' truth database, like e.g. Entourage, you are fine to sync.

Two words: GREAT PRODUCT !!!!!!!!!!!! I have been using products from Novamedia from way back and they have never failed me or left me wishing for more. I called their tech department this morning about a plugin for the N85, and less than an hour later I had one in my mailbox waiting for me to test. These guys are the real deal. I can not say enough how great these guys are. If you need connectivity between your phone and Mac, look no further. The pricing is okay, the apps are spitzenklasse :), and the service is outstanding. Did I mention how good these guys are?

I have used !Sync plugin for Nokia E51 for several years and it works seamlessly. I have over 2500 contacts and calender events from several years. Syncing calenders do reach the break down limit of my Nokia (runs out of space) & thus I choose which calenders I want syncd & the months... I have been documenting my European travels on a motorbike for 8 years. I will now get a Samsung Galaxy S Plus & will eventually try the appropiate solution. Very reliable and I really don't care if they protect their invention/ licensing since it just works... period.

Works great but they have THE most paranoid licensing system I have seen on OSX. Any company that has "limited" activations I avoid. It is paranoia full stop.

It's just a parasite software, sony ericsson plug ins are for FREE as Nokia for example just go to Nokia and Sony Ericsson Web site, about the features about photo contact sync, that would be nice, but not in your site, not in this software manual talks about it!! And you have to pay to even try this install, such a hoax. SonyEricsson FREE Software: http://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/support/softwaredownloads/ Nokia FREE Software: http://europe.nokia.com/support/product-support/isync Apple FREE iSync plugins software: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2824 And lot of others...

This is the best sync plugin maker around. I purchased a Samsung B2100 about a month ago and then realized it was not supported in isync. I had some experience with Nova Media before so I sent them an email asking for support for the phone. They had me a plugin within a day and it was mostly working but not quite. I email logs and so forth back to them and within a couple of days had a working plugin. Amazing! I got a follow up email today which included a link to the new official plugin. All this for $10. I could not be happier.

Hi, thank you for the note about Snow Leopard. Some of the more than 250 plugins do cause troubles with the new operating system and we rewrite them piece for piece. As soon as they are updated, they appear automatically in the system utility "iSync plugins". If your plugin does not work - then please contact our support at sync@novamedia.de for the updated plugin and it will work again. Just like that :-) Thanks again, Jan Fuellemann (nova media)

Doesn't work on Snow Leopard like the site says. When you check which phones are supported, it lists Snow Leopard capability, but iSync opens with a warning that the plugin isn't compatible and quits.

I would like to put in some serious praise for Nova Media (makes of the iSync Plugin), their expertise and amazing customer service. I tried all free plugins I could find to get an AT&T Motorola V3XX to work with iSync. After a few wasted hours I finally broke down and bought their plug-in having read review http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/89518&mode=feedback . The funny thing was that I was too tired to notice their plugin actually doesn't support V3XX... duhh. Anyhow, I contacted Nova Media and they were super helpful although they didn't have to be. They sent me a small phone inspector app which found that the phone was identifying itself as RAZRV3XXR_J which is not what iSync expects. Since they didn't have a version of 10.4.9 OSX he just modified an existing plugin to update iSync with the new identifier. Voila, everything worked. By everything I mean phone numbers as I didn't bother with calendar stuff. With such competence, not to mention willingness to help, I'd buy from this company anytime!

Plugins work depending on the model. Support is quite helpful. But beware: The licensing model is inacceptable for me. Since the plugin for my mobile phone didn't work as expected, I uninstalled it and tried the original isync plugin by the manufacturer. I switched my mac, that used one too... Each install / activation is using one license (of 3). So if you remove a license for testing reasons, or switch your computer, or reinstall the system: each activation uses up a license. For me a complete show-stopper. Anyway: Just be careful when lightheartedly activating & removing a license, you might end up with no licenses... Be warned.

My thanks to the folks at Nova Media. They didn't actually send me a new plugin, they worked with me to fix the one I had (that should have worked). They did it for me in just two email exchanges in less than a week when I had struggled for months with several other vendors trying to figure out the cause of the problem. I recommend the company highly for understanding their product and for providing superior support. -Jim
