I love playwatch! Why hasn't anyone come up with this sooner. Great app to have for everyone....and so cheap too!

This contains the exact feature I was looking for: a display of what's playing. And you can download the app and try before you buy, instead of having to rely on Apple's App Store alone. Great. Price might seem stiff, but given how much time a body would spend with the app, not unreasonable. Unfortunately, while trying it I realized that I am too easily distracted to be safe with such a tool. Guess I'll have to go back to the old-fashioned way of calling up iTunes if I *really* want to know what's streaming. But that's not the app's fault.

Playwatch is very good & easy to use & is a combination of SizzlingKeys & BravoTunes, which is just what I was looking for... something that displays the track info & gives me a controller bar in the MENUBAR, as well as giving me the option of using HOTKEYS.
I was considering buying this (even though I think that the price is WAY ABOVE what it should be... me'thinks it should be $4.99 considering the competition & to keep it competitive !!) but then I noticed the author has decided to take the PISS with the price!!
On MacUpdate it's been selling for a long while at $8.99, but when you click the link it now takes you to the newly updated site with links to the new AppStore, and by the looks of things the author has decided to take advantage of selling it on the AppStore & therefore take advantage of unaware prospective buyers and has decided to BUMP THE PRICE UP TO $15.99 !!
Dear Author, considering you don't do many updates to thing & that there are alternatives which come close to Playwatch & which are FREE, I think you'll seriously have to rethink you're greed, and aim for a realistic down to earth price if you ever want to consider selling your product.

The price is now $11.99 or €9.99. Considering the huge amount of work that has gone into the development of this piece of software, I believe the price is appropriate. I tested a lower price, about $3.99 and sales did not increase. I tested a higher price and sales did not decrease. It turns out, that people who really like this software are willing to pay even higher prices. People that don't like it won't even pay $1 or $2 for it.

Developing software is hard work, and extremely time consuming. It's not a kind of Hobby, that I do after my normal work. Although I really love developing software it is also my normal work. Would you like to go to work day by day without getting appropriate payment?

Just add SizzlingKeys or GimmeSomeTune. Why doesn't iTunes just do it's own?!

WOW! Great first effort. I've been a Synergy user for years but I fear it's done for. Developer blames iTunes/Apple but CoverSutra and now this app play just fine with iTunes art. I was never satisfied with CoverSutra. This app may just get me to switch. Only gripe is no keystrokes. (Yet?)
