Assuming it is even possible, are there any plans to port MLB Schedule and or MLB Standings to the iPhone and/or iPod Touch? Just seems like a natural, pardon the pun.

Awesome widget, I use it all the time and don't know what I would do without it!

Still doesn't work through a corporate firewall requiring password authentication. Error message says it can't find a network connection. Works fine with a direct connection to the web.

Version 1.4 really messed up the display for the StL. Cardinals, going back to 1.3 fixed the problem...

This seems to have been a problem with the days on which there's no game. I've fixed the small error and updated the widget to 1.5. Hopefully that works for you. Logan Rockmore developer, MLB Schedule

BTW, folks, the actual author (Logan Rockmore) also responded and thanked us for the work-around info. Also, I just received a courteous reply from Mesa Dynamics support and they thanked us also and said they should be easily able to release an update to Amnesty Singles to permanently address this issue. Many thanks to all who were so courteous with their support. Now, off to bed!!

Nice widgets. But does anyone (developer?) know why they don't work with Amnesty Singles as standalone apps. (The info button is invisible so there is no way to change the team selection, etc.). Thanks in advance. Ken P.

This is a problem with Amnesty Singles - none of the widgets that are deployed with a requirement of 10.4.3 or higher and use the AppleClasses work with Amnesty Singles (as they don't resolve the path to the system includes properly - one of them being the infobutton script). I told them about that a while ago but they don't seem to be inclined to fix it (they just put 10.4.3+ widgets they know about on the list of "known problems") - I suggest that more people let them know about the problem (which will get worse once DashCode is officially released) and ask them to fix it.

I thought it was probably an Amnesty Singles problem. Thanks so much for the quick reply!

Yes - my bad about the missing quotes... Alternatively you could precede all spaces by a "\" character (I created the link from the widget's directory itself so I didn't actually have to add the path to it when I tested). Oh, and I am not actually the author of the MLB widgets - it just happens that my widget suffers from the same problem when used with Amnesty singles.

Hey guys. I just wanted to chime in and say that I was glad that you found a solution to getting the widgets to work with Amnesty. If anyone asks me about this, I'm now armed with the knowledge to fix it. Thanks! Logan Rockmore developer, MLB Schedule

Hi Logan. Glad we could help! Sorry about my "developer confusion". Great baseball widgets. BTW, I have reported this and am having a discussion with Amnesty Singles support.

Doesn't seem to work through a proxy server. Gives message: “error, there is no network connection available.” Other widgets don't have this problem.

Yet another great baseball widget. Could I suggest changing the interface up a little? How about modeling something after Weather.widget? Make it like a baseball forecast or something? I dunno, I just think the interface could use more... separation. Also, the transparent gifs being called from ESPN have some SERIOUS jaggies (see: Giants). How about using locally stored pngs instead? Finally, THANK YOU!

Yeah, the ESPN images really are horrible, but they work and it was relatively easy to create. I'm looking for somewhere that has some better images, but most of them don't have a transparent background. And I'm still debating wether to include images in the widget, because that would drastically increase the widget's file size. Thanks for the suggestions! Logan Rockmore developer, MLB Schedule
