Thank goodness for a high quality Twitter application which is not on the App Store only highway to hell.

Also supports Snow Leopard. Good job Icon Factory. You made your sale today for those two reasons. Snow Leopard is Apple's XP. It just works. Legacy support where possible will make sales.

I don't know if I like Twitterrific.
It is easy to use and very stable, but it is lacking some features I don't want to miss anymore.
Searching for people per example.
I like the colors and the UI, what doesn't fit into the picture are those ugly icons on the top.

If you look for a Twitter client that isn't expensive and has Tweetmarker support it is still a good choice 'cause it is in active development and the support via Twitter is very good. You always get an answer, even if people just troll.

I wish Twitterrific would support proper list editing (adding and deleting people from lists). This must be a feature many people are waiting for.

Still doesn't remember that you want it to always load in full screen. Hmm.

Tweet Marker is just the thing I've been waiting for. I now use Twitterrific on the mac and TweetBot on iOS which, with Tweet Marker looks like a perfect combo.

4.4 is a great update. Tweet Marker now actually works with TweetBot and no longer need to shorten URLs prior to posting. Great stuff!

Now what's still missing is editing lists.

Can someone of the downrankers explain their argument? I'm curious.

How does one hide the dock icon at the bottom? Having the top menu and bottom menu is ridiculous. In the previous version, I had just the top and was able to turn off the bottom icon (I think).

I've emailed support, but no response.

Anybody know how to turn off the bottom dock icon for Twitterrific? I'll go back to the previous version if not and waste my upgrade fee...

Thanks

Unfortunately you can't at this time. And I agree, ridiculous to have both since the status bar icon does nothing but show/hide the app... totally useless clutter.

Error with 2.1:

2007-06-07 09:48:55 -1000: There was an error retrieving the XML data from Twitter. The error message is "can't find host".

Deleting preferences didn't help. 2.0 works fine.
