MISO-J is a file appending utility which is able to join multiple files in a single one. For example, 001.txt + 002.txt + 003.txt --> output.txt, or Converted multiple segment image files are groups of "xxx.mds, xxx.I00, xxx.I01, xxx.I02" or "xxx.mds, xxx.mdf, xxx.md0, xxx.md1" to ISO image.
The operation is easy, we just drag and drop these files (MDS, MDF, MD0, MD1...) into table view of MISO-J. And then, we can convert them for burning ISO image on Mac.
Ability to join Txt files is great. Last time I was searching for something like this but it didn't pop up in search results at Macupdate, I guess because you call it "appending" utility instead of Merging / Joining utility. I had to go and purchase a Txt to PDF conversion tool for $7 to get a couple of dozen Txt files merged (yes I can accomplish it via script or Automator, it's just it somehow didn't work for me).
I run with PPC OSX10.49, it can easy to open *.mds (and link to *.mdf) files, and it can join(convert) to *.iso. it's working, Thanks for the developer.
Does the job fast and easily. On my Intel Mac Pro I have had no problems. This free piece of software is the only one for Mac, thus ranks as top value. It is easy to use. Still doesn't handle drag-n-drop, but that's no big deal. You don't often come across .mds and .mdf files, and it's nice not having to use Windows software to create a ISO image file. Highly recomended! Many thanks to the developer!
