Just a word regarding the installation: this has really become an easy process during the years – just unzip (double-click) the zip-file, drag the OpenTTD.app file to your applications folder and start the app. It will download the open graphics files itself, the sound files you can find in the app's starting menu under "check online content": type "sound" in the search field, check the appearing file and click on download. You then can select the sound file under "game options". If you like some music, just type "music" in "check online content". Wow, the complete installation took me about 2 minutes – for this you get hours of fun playing one of the best games ever made…

Just as a heads up, this needs either the original Transport Tycoon Deluxe data files (from the MS-DOS CD-ROM release), or the open source replacement data files (OpenGFX, OpenSFX, and OpenMSX), available from the OpenTTD website.

For people who want to play this game - Before you click OpenTTD.app, You need to get the data files from the original TTD. You can obtain the game from here: http://www.abandonia.com/games/240/download/TransportTycoonDeluxeforWindows.htm Just follow the instructions in the OpenTTD folder, you can start to play in no time. Great game!

I absolutely love this game. It was probably one of the things i missed the most when I moved to mac. The application is stable and the game is highly addictive. The only bad things I can come up with is that the original sound files are a bit difficault to get working, and also the installation process could be easier, but none the less, it is still a five star game.
