any suggestions for an alternative to apple Photos for pictures management? I use XnView but it's too slow for my library of 60GB. Lyn is extremely slow.

I have macOS 10.15.2 and the Adobe version I've downloaded was 9.x . Few days ago I had issues with my new Canon camera as Adobe tether ridiculously did not want to detect it! After updating my Mac to 10.15.3, my issue was solved

it's a good program but Adobe is getting $5,000,000 per month for what? I have version 6.14 which is all I want or need and have been using it for years. I do not think there is anything that could make upgrading to Catalina worth paying Adobe way too much just to run 64 bit which they should have been doing for years anyway. I am now trying out GIMP, ON1, Paintshop Pro, and Capture One. I tried Luminar and had it around for 3 years before finally giving up - They promised a lot of function and delivered none of it. I should be done with Adobe in about a month or two.

Here's another fan of the now thoroughly robust On1 program. I'll never go back to adobe. They're just another price-gouging corporation that couldn't care less about their customers.

This newest version puts several new features in that make my life easier. The ability to export a photo to several presets at once saves will save me hours per week. Couldn't do my work without Lightroom, Photoshop, and the DxO Nik plugins.
