Somewhere along the line Plum Amazing acquired iWatermark and rebranded it iWatermark Pro. The software is adequate and works as advertized for what it does.
My problem is with Plum Amazing's customer service, or lack of. First, I contacted them about the upgrade path from the original product. No response. Their site claimed they had no record of my owning a license fro iWatermark therefore I was not eligible for an upgrade.
Then I receive a mass email from Plum Amazing offering a 35% discount on any of their software products (expiration date January 31, 2012). I figure the discounted price for a new license is close to what I pay for an upgrade. I order a copy, enter the discount code at the appropriate time during checkout, the site verifies the discount has been accepted and voila, I get charged full price ($30).
I email Plum Amazing asking what happened to my discount. No response.
So, what am I to take away from these experiences? Plum Amazing's customer service is non-existent? They don't care?
Bottom line... software is adequate but not worth $30. And, Plum Amazing apparently only cares about making money and not their customers.
P.S. The original iWatermark license and the iWatermark Pro license now appear on my customer profile. Amazing, isn't it?
