Linotype FontExplorer will do a damn hell of a lot more than this program, and for free.

At $5.00 per registered user, the developer has to find a lot of suckers or newbies to buy a Ferrari.
useless as shareware and useless anyway!, Font Book does a LOT more and is freeware and looks nicer too.

What makes this any better than Font Book which comes with OSX. Seems a bit pointless to me.

Completely pointless as shareware... there are freebies that do more. This one has only one function, showing installed fonts, nothing more... Add to this the floating shareware reminders which pop up from all sides... pointless I said.
