I ran both programs and CleanMyMac found 220 Mb of junk stuff while CleanGenius found 80Mb...
The uninstaller is OK for both. Even better than AppDelete, sometimes.
However, CleanGenius has some interesting features CleanMyMac doesn't:
Duplicate finder
Free memory
Disk space monitor
...
So if the addons are important to you (and they should be), CleanGenius is a good tool. However, the core feature is not the best. Far from it.

Caches and logs are not "junk files;" they're data, and there's no reason to remove them unless they cause a problem, which is rare.
You don't need to be "alerted" when your (free) disk space goes below 10%, because that event is of no significance.
Converting available RAM to free RAM harms performance and has no benefits whatsoever.
Don't install this garbage.

I tested the uninstall on a simple app --- which totally disappeared ie nothing in the trash, no traces found with spotlight nor Find Any File.
Follow-up: Developer apparently finally grasped the concept of Mac app version numbers (previous bug fixes were all ver2, with no announcement). Now functions as advertised on my machine.
One small bug left --- ID's my OS as 10.8.0 --- notified developer.
Developer has been responsive re. support.
