Quick Note has stopped launching. Is there any way to recover the extensive notes I made for a research project?

Did you look in /Users/Library/Application Support for a Quick Note or Diigo folder? There should be text notes in there ...

I'm amazed this ever launched for anyone.

Quick Note is a very nice Stickies replacement, but i.m.o. it should auto-quit when the notepad window is closed.

Looks fantastic! ................. Sadly, it's identical to the simple notes feature built right into Mac Mail. Also, the notes in Mail sync very easily with iPod Touch, iPhone, and iPad.

The latest version is actually 1.3 where they have implemented syncing. However, this was done clumsily w/o the ability to easily disable it, or get around it.

The ratings for this app fell from stellar to dismal with the release of 1.3, and now someone has erased all the negative comments at the app store. I suspect they got the message and are trying to fix it.

Not sure if it's even possible to get 1.2 anymore; luckily I still had it on another computer and replaced 1.3 with 1.2 on this one. Be sure to save your 1.2 someplace if you have it before trying 1.3.

Quick and easy--a sensible alternative to stickies. I look forward to more formatting options and maybe connection to Evernote/Drop Box.

A free download from the Mac AppStore. If you need to type something quickly I guess it's okay, but it is very basic, bare app. You can't change the color of the background, there's no formatting, and there isn't isn't even a Preferences!

Can somebody explain it to me why to use AppStore for free apps? Just that can be disabled later and make me don't want it in the first place?
