Desktoday helps clear files and folders that get scattered on the Desktop and put them into a folder with today's date. Accessible at any time from the system menu bar in the top right corner of the screen. Make sure you click on the destionation button in the preferences at least once, even if you don't want to change the destination. Otherwise it can't find the destination.

Although it thinks that the function of this tool is excellent, since starting takes time too much, it cannot use.
I want developer to improve so that it can start more quickly.

I use this several times a week due to my terrible habit of simply dragging URLs and saving snippets and other stuff right to my Desktop. It's a great tool and I give a big "thank you" to Lee for writing this helpful utility.

One of THE best free applications I have ever downloaded from the App Store. Been using it for a number of months now, with no problems. I tend to take a number of screen prints during the work day and also download numerous research documents to the desktop. DeskToday lets me dump all that 'clutter' into a dated folder with a simple 'click'. So next week when I'm looking for a file I acquired the week before, it's all nice and neealy stored in a dated folder. Drag the DeskToday Folder to the Finder sidebar, and everythings nice and handy. It's a must have!

Liking it, but I wish it didn't make an empty backup folder when there are no items added from the desktop (after you've selected Clear Desktop).

Needs a "Quit" menu item. No reason one should have to open Activity Monitor, open Terminal, Logout or Restart.

I like this little app. What with dragging all sorts of images & text onto the desktop from Safari it gets jammed regularly. Desktoday clears things up a treat and labels the folder to boot.
