Tagr helps you organize your MP3 / M4A (MP4) collection. With Tagr you can easily edit information such as a song's artist, title, or album cover. Tagr also allows you to control the way your files are named. Tagr features an integration with discogs.com which allows you to search for album information and artwork and apply it to your songs.

Lion 10.7.1 EHD: Western Digital 500GB.
I just added a music folder, selected some songs, changed the info and clicked "save to HD." It froze after that, but after 3-ish mins I quit, then hear the HD write something. I checked the songs with iTunes 10.5 and confirmed a change of ID tag.
Request: option to view more info that is viewable in iTunes. Ability to submit a list of song names that will pick out those names to change tag. Use user-given databases to automatically fix tags. (in my case, vgmdb.net) Ability to organize track and disc numbers. (in the tags)
Thanks for this wonderful software, I hope you will be successuful! Perhaps it will work with an EHD on snow leopard?

- Ability to clean a field (deleting a tag)
- A dialog showing all the tags detected in fields like mp3tag and the ability of edit them.
- More powerful file renamer/tag extractor from filename Example: %artist% - %title% - %dummy%.

If Tagr is or would be able in the future to extract data from Discogs then that would be really useful.

Tagr could not query Discogs.
Make sure you are connected to the Internet.
There's a Show Details button. When clicked, says:
Line 1: Document is empty
There's no support page or contact info for the developer, so I don't know what to do. May try uninstalling, but without support, I don't know what if any accessory files were originally installed.
I'm running OS 10.6, and haven't made any recent system changes
