He is known as a speaker at the major technology and software development conferences, such as CMD-D, ALTWWDC, Macworld, Macstock, and many others. Brett occasionally contributes to MacStories and Lifehacker. Also, he has written for TUAW, Macworld, and other well-known blogs related to technology and the Mac world. Brett Terpstra has become famous for the development of Marked 2, a Markdown previewer for Mac. Together with David Sparks, he released a book in the Macsparky Field Guide series titled "60 Mountain Lion Tips" for Mac users.
