Speed up your mouse.

Overview

MouseZoom is a preference pane which speeds up your mouse cursor.

Cursor speed is set "live" without having to log out before it takes effect. MouseZoom uses the same method as Apple's mouse panel.

I just purchased the new Apple Magic Mouse and like many others, found that the tracking speed was terribly slow, even with the mouse tracking speed set to maximum. I tried the trick of bumping up the default tracking speed via the Terminal, and while that helped some, it really didn't do the trick, but MouseZoom did! Thanks for a great little utility that does exactly what it's supposed to do and fixes a piece of hardware Apple should never have released with its software not working properly.

Brilliant! I felt I needed a 68 foot mouse mat before. Setting MouseZoom X halfway, has now put the System Settings slider 2 notches back, which looks about right for the Tracking Speed I want. High Sierra 10.13.6

It's a very good PreFpane and I'm using it for years, but I think it reduces the mouse pointer precision.

I can't believe how limited are the Magic Mouse tracking speed values. This software allows faster tracking speeds along with real time changes. Perfect!

I'm not certain if this person accomplished what you're asking, but I think he's suggesting so: http://triq.net/software/mouse-acceleration-preference-pane-mac-os-x

Excellent app! Simple and does the job. Any chance of allowing the scroll wheel to accelerate?

Seems to work on Snow Leopard 10.6.1. Was really the only thing I needed Logitech Control Center for, so thanks, and good riddance LCC.
