Meteorologist

I have been using Metro for over 10 years, and I'm just so sick and tired of its half-witted design and constant need to be updated to come back into compliance with the websites it get its data from that I am dumping it. I am officially ready to admit that these developers are clowns. From now on, I will not have menubar weather data, I'll just get it directly from the various meteorological websites. By the way, I'm a meteorologist.

Version 3.5.1 is out since few Weeks but it is useless. keeps on giving error. Weekends Developers and Visual crossing forecast shows 9999 temp and Latitude Longitude error. Looks like Canadian Developers are just Lazy! Same with macupdate, they are lazy too, still showing old version of Meteo.

Nice and versatile weather app. Can gather weather data from a variety of sources. The developer is responsive and helps to fix any issue promptly. Some posters do not seem to understand how this application and the weather sources it relies on do work, so you morons, do not insult the developer who's doing a great job at maintaining and giving it out for free.

As usual, Meteorologist 3.5 stopped working just days after the last update. This app is HOPELESS.

Meteorologist Screwed up again by releasing v 3.4.5. Radar is nice but VisualCrossing forcast is messed up, half a time Weather Icon shows Question Mark and error updating Message.

Seems to be working again.

Apple should buy this app from the developer and integrate it's functionality into macOS. It's really that good.

Meterologist V 3.4.4 Worked for One Day with VisualCrossing and same Crap 9999 started. Maybe Developers are Stupid.

New update doesn't report information from Visual Crossing. Going back to 3.4.3 with OpenWeather and my own API key

Thought it was working OK when I updated, but now it appears to fail to get temp and forecast. Evidently Visual Crossing is blocking this also. Other options are not able to retrieve data also.

Meteorlogist 3.4.4 is out since January but seems Macupdate does not care to update Listing. Go to Sourceforge (Click on Developers Site ^ and Download Latest Version.

Version 3.4.3 displays all 9999 on an Intel Mini running 10.12.6. Help!

Meteorologist shows 9999 as temperature on all Ten Locations. This started Today, maybe Developers Forgot to update their License with Yahoo Weather.

I've been using Metro for many years, but the only weather service it has EVER been able to report from is Yahoo, which is halfassed. NOAA, WeatherUnderground, TheWeather.com, AccuWeather, etc. -- NONE of these have ever worked for my location in Southern California.
