Disk Watcher fully automates Disk First Aid to check your disks for corruption, keeps a log of the results, and informs you when your disks need to be fixed. A good and reliable "early warning" system. Very easy to use for home users as it works just fine 'right out of the box', yet highly configurable, making it a nice tool for Mac network administrators too.
Version 1.1 adds the following:
- If the startup disk was busy and couldn't be checked, Disk First Aid was quit instead of left running. Fixed.
- If DFA encountered a diskproblem it cannot fix, Disk Watcher would give up. Disk Watcher now correctly logs the error and continues.
- When upgrading, the installer could accidentally revert your Disk Watcher settings to the default settings. Fixed.
Mac OS 7.5 through 9.2.2, Disk First Aid 8.2 or later
