This program is a great idea, and seeing as how it lets you use more than one dock simultaneously, it's even better. However, the docks this program makes are very different from the docks from OS X. And, when dragging shortcuts and programs to the docks, the program crashes often and doesn't save your changes, so you'll have to do everything over again. If the docks could be more like the OS X ones and made more stable, then this program would be perfect.

I'm pretty sure that whoever Gideon Softworks are/were that they have disappeared off the face of the earth. If some clever person could convert this to 64 bit, I would venture to suggest that this would continue to be the best dock replacement/ addition there is. Any takers?

Looks like end of the world for dock-it is in the wind. 10.13.4 beta 1 gives the dreaded update or die message ie 32 bit apps will be phased out in January. What a shame - this is the best extra dock app there is for mac and the developer is not answering E-Mails. Shame someone couldn't develop this into 64 bit

This app is the only thing that comes close to replacing the old A-Dock which doesn't work with Yosemite. I like it a lot with only a couple complaints. Sometimes it gets "stuck" in the open state and I wish it would automatically load all running apps.

I have used this app for many years and for me it fits just like a glove. Multiple dock, just where you want them and despite not being updated for some time, just continues to work. The developer responds quickly to any questions. Highly recommended

No reviews in quite some time. I just ran across this and liked it a lot. I don't find it to be noticeably taxing on the system. It's very fast and launches apps quickly. Has several other features that people might find useful. And the developer is still responsive. I just wrote him this morning and got a reply within a few hours. If you like having multiple docks, you should at least give this a spin.

its a fairrly basic app that does the job of placing shortcuts/alises on the desktop elegantly. the bad part over the other software I tried(dragthing) is that you have to manually drag drop each app u want a shortcut of. also it uses 40 mb of system memory which I think is a lot!
