The developer's website is dead, the only thing accessable is the base URL, and it has nothing but a picture that mentions that they plan to support 3 of their programs during this year.... and it's already late 2006. Not very confidence inspiring if the developer bows out for long periods of time, ignoring their user-base compeletely.

Any chance you guys could post a progress report on your site? I think other developers are starting to fill in the gaps. FinderPop has been reserurrected and the old hold click mouse apps are back.

Be aware of the company. These guys never respond to email no matter what. It is basically a "Take It or Leave It" shareware with zero customer support. If you run into issues or need support after installation (which I did), you are completely out of luck.

Ittec is great. Nothing to said more. But now, it is not possible to sent them a mail or so. Strange. I hope developers are not ill ;-) Bansuri

While the developers obviously don't reply to emails too often (if at all), they seem to listen. v2.3 finally fixes a conflict regarding the Menu Bar menu and other applications menus, something that I have reported earlier this year (in my case there was a conflict with Unsanity Menu Master). Regarding the price, $25 is quite a LOT although Ittec's features are brilliant. The new font preview is an excelent idea. But already the earlier price of $15 (that I have paid two years ago) was rather high. I'm not sure if this is a good business strategy...

Nice app. Does what it's supposed to but Fruitmenu does the same job for $10 less so I'll stick with FM.

There is perhaps a developer, but on the other hand, when information is requested to him, he does not answer. Unpleasant.

Great App I paid from it birth. But for this time, I had had a trouble on install: The installer erased all the startup items, and when I logged the Mac session after installing, Ittec was the only stuff in my startup items folder. I run on 10.2.8 on a french OS, on a G4 466Mhz...

I demo'd this and discovered I couldn't give these guys my 15 bucks fast enough. This CM is like Behiearchic for OSX on steroids....and more. Very nice work.

Awesome stuff. Can't do without. The option to use the empty area of your menubar for a dropdown menu is great. It makes me feel I have FinderPop back in OS X. Version 1.7 is a good update. Older version did not always launch on startup in 10.2.4. Best shareware product you can get for X.

Dear God in Heaven thank you for the people at Balance who've kept me from having to learn Objective C, OOP, and the Mac API's to satisfy my desperate jonesing for the well-loved and deeply missed Finder Pop.

This rocks... it is exactly what I have been waiting for. I was a FinderPop user under Mac OS 9 and found that I missed the functionality of the so called "pintware) as the developer called it :-) With this context menu item I can do things far more efficiently than with Apple's standard navigation features. In fact, I have hidden all my desktop volumes and the Dock... now I just use Ittec to go where ever and do whatever I need. Add to it customisable command like Copy To and Move To with a target area dialogue box and this will be a 5 start tool.
