List, compare, try, and print all installed fonts.

Overview

Font Viewer allows you to list, compare, try, and print all installed fonts on your system.

  • It displays the total number of installed fonts on your system.
  • It displays the name of each font next to its rank.
  • It displays an example of text with each font.
  • You can edit each example, which allows you to try out the fonts as you want.
  • You can replicate your own example through all the fonts.
  • You can change the style, the size and the color of all the fonts.
  • You can open multiple windows at the same time with all the fonts to compare them more easily.
  • It can automatically display the main characters of each font.
  • It can print all of your fonts with the selected size, style and text.
  • It doesn't need any installation which makes it very easy to use.
  • It is available in Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Latvian, Polish, Spanish, and many other languages.

What's new in Font Viewer

Version 10.1:
  • A full recompilation has been made to be compatible with OS X 10.11 El Capitan and macOS 10.12 Sierra, and as Universal Binary to keep being compatible with both old (PowerPC) Macs and recent (Intel) Macs.
  • The "How to intall it?" paragraph of the documentation has been updated to explain how to install and launch the application, in particular under OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion, 10.9 Mavericks, 10.10 Yosemite, 10.11 El Capitan, and macOS 10.12 Sierra

Completely pointless as shareware... there are freebies that do more. This one has only one function, showing installed fonts, nothing more... Add to this the floating shareware reminders which pop up from all sides... pointless I said.

THESE THIEVES ARE BACK...AGAIN! WON'T THEY EVER GO AWAY? Every once in a while, these guys inflict themselves on the Mac community and then disappear, presumably after a few suckers have plunked down too many of their hard-earned dollars for too little quality and functionality. ANYTHING an AlphaOmega app does can be had elsewhere...better and cheaper!!!

Changing font size creates a bug of overlapping elements Add this to the impossibility to print as PDF, and it makes this unusable in a professional environment

Linotype FontExplorer will do a damn hell of a lot more than this program, and for free.

At $5.00 per registered user, the developer has to find a lot of suckers or newbies to buy a Ferrari.

useless as shareware and useless anyway!, Font Book does a LOT more and is freeware and looks nicer too. If you want a professional font viewer even better than FontBook then try Typeset by vizspring. www.vizspring.com

What makes this any better than Font Book which comes with OSX. Seems a bit pointless to me.
