Excellent feature that is not present natively on the Mac. With the new upgrade now it works flawlessly.

Does not do the job i expected. I have several documents including all my firewired hard drives on the desktop. Well they were all still there when I called on Show Desktop to clear the desktop.

Good, but should and needs a short cut. I like Expose but it doesnt hide the apps. But this does, but needs to be done in a more elegant way. I dont want it in my menubar or dock. I want a teackpad gesture or a shortcut.

Mighty Mouse + Exposé renders this tool obsolete.

great little app. been using it for a good while now. note, i'm more of a mouse user than keyboard, hence, can't be bothered to use command+option+desktop feature.

Show Desktop is the Jaguar's Expose. For us Jaguar users, this is an Expose equivalent. One click of the menu bar icon and you get your desktop. Unbeatable. Thanks.

Thanks! This is great for notebook users when you don't have a multi button mouse connected. A lot easier than trying to to use complicated Exposé commands, which always require the use of the fn unless you wanna occupy an important key like shift or control.

Showdesktop is better than exposé regarding the feature HIDE, why it hides the windows open and not only place them on the sides of the screen, it lacks a feature however: the possibility to assign a key to use the program

Doesn't Expose do this already? In fact, I think it does a few things more. But hey, if you wanna put it out, have at it. Just seems unnecessary to me.

Why did you make this app? A simple Apple keystroke do the same thing… I am curious to know why you're loosing time with this wired idea? Hey ! Why not make one app that delete every thing that is in the trash? Or another one that shut down the computer? Cheer!

[Apple] + [H] is fine, but not having to do it five or six times is nice. Save me a few minutes every day. Maybe there is a short-cut key I do not know about, but I wish it were a feature in Show Desktop. Suggestion: [Apple] + [E]

Love this program. My only problem is that since updating it stays in front when I boot up. The older version would let the finder become the front application. Now I have to click the desktop to get the finder up and put show desktop in the background.

The menu bar icon looks yucky but this is a great program - os x should really do this out of the box (hide *everything* vs. hide others).

Pretty pointless idea, as command+option clicking any app/window will hide other apps. This app is little more than clutter.

Ive used this since 1.3, have been using 1.3.1 with jaguar for some time with the only issue being some icon wierdness that deleting my system caches rectified. version 1.5 can only make things better. As for what this app does, it may not suit your workflow, but if it does it's extremely good at doing it's thing
