Show Desktop overview
Show Desktop can hide all apps and show the desktop when clicked on in the Dock. Shift-clicking on the icon will show all apps. It also offers several Finder options such as: minimizing Finder windows, opening a new Finder window, and hiding the Finder.

Glad to see that Show Desktop has been revived to work under more recent versions of macOS. I used the original version for years, many times a day, and was sad to see it stop working for newer OSs . Somehow I didn't find out until today that it had finally been updated. I've got it working fine under Big Sur.

Excellent feature that is not present natively on the Mac. With the new upgrade now it works flawlessly.

Does not do the job i expected. I have several documents including all my firewired hard drives on the desktop. Well they were all still there when I called on Show Desktop to clear the desktop.

Good, but should and needs a short cut. I like Expose but it doesnt hide the apps. But this does, but needs to be done in a more elegant way. I dont want it in my menubar or dock. I want a teackpad gesture or a shortcut.
