SpamOut overview
The biggest strength of SpamOut: simplicity and reliability.
The app is always accessible from the menu bar for easy access to settings. It's working as a background process.
It's a way to automatically remove spam messages from your email communications.
You can setup the content or email addresses to ban.
It's optimized for the modern IMAP protocol.
For sentences in email subjects, there are two ways to use the app:
- you can setup your own lists of sentences to ban
- you can use SpamOut service (the list is updated monthly)

This is their Customer Service way of communicating :
"Sorry, we never processed any refund in 10 years as you have a trial version to test the app.
We use it and it works on our side. Your reason to choose a competitor is not a valid reason for refund *.
If you block the payment, you take the risk to be banned forever by the credit card payment gateway powering million of websites."
*I never said something like that...

SpamOut is an app that should not be purchased.
I've blacklisted about 90 email addresses - SPAM and SpamOut doesn't block them — they keep showing up in Apple Mail.
Money thrown out the window.
But I hope to be reimbursed !
