Version: 2.1.0
This is entirely unnecessary on most (not all) recent Macs, iOS devices and when using AirPods. They use a far better method of noise cancelation by way of multiple microphones dedicated to that purpose. A sad exception is the iPhone 13 series. Check your device specs to verify whether it has active noise cancelation and verify it is turned ON in your settings. [I decided to skip adding links. A net search for "noise cancelation" regarding your device will provide useful links.]
