RecentApps overview
RecentApps is yet another means of viewing the recently run applications on your Mac. Prior to macOS 10.15 (Catalina), similar functionality was built-in to the Dock. RecentApps attempts to restore that feel. It also (optionally) allows you to perform the same function from an icon in the system menubar.
Note: While the software is classified as free, it is actually donationware. Please consider making a donation to help support development.

Version: 1.0.1
Warning - RecentApps 1.0.1 will crash if you have enabled Dock hiding. I'll get this fixed in the next release of the Software.
