Jabra Direct doesn't work on my Mac (Big Sur 11.5.2). They ask me to connect my device but my Jabra Elite 45h is already connected. I deleted the software (no small task) and reinstalled it but still no go. I seem to remember coming across a comment that you have to use a bluetooth dongle to get JD to work with a Mac, but I can't find any info on that issue anymore. This has been going on a long time. Why doesn't Jabra fix it rather than play around with the tiny issues they say they've solved in the latest JD version?

Jabra Software Support is still not available. for a very long time serval bugs are well known and documented - and they are still not solved! For example problems with the batty management, often restarting the base station (also during calls), crashing during adjustment of the volume level, the recondition of the device often does not work properly after disconnection and reconnect,... Support does not react or wasting time with topics like reinstall the whole system, start clean installation, or discussion about whom to sent a mail about the Problem.... BigSur is still not supported, still after 6 month....

Jabra Direct may be necessary for updating the firmware on my Jabra Evolve 75. Unfortunately, it doesn't work in my current Mac Mini, running OS 10.15.3 Catalina, or in an older MacBook, running OS Yosemite. In addition, it insists on changing my audio settings so that FaceTime calls get their audio cut out. To add insult to injury, there is no "uninstall" option. I had to prowl around the Apps and Library folders to delete all the bits and pieces of this software. In short, the software isn't malicious, but it is so haphazard that it might as well be.
