What is Frink for Mac
Frink is a practical calculating tool and programming language designed to make physical calculations simple, to help ensure that answers come out right, and to make a tool that's really useful in the real world. It tracks units of measure (feet, meters, kilograms, watts, etc.) through all calculations, allowing you to mix units of measure transparently, and helps you easily verify that your answers make sense. It also contains a large data file of physical quantities, freeing you from having to look them up, and freeing you to make effortless calculations without getting bogged down in the mechanics
What's new in Frink
Version 2021-03-28:
- Added function img.getPixelGrayInt[x,y] to return the color of a pixel as a grayscale from 0 to 255 inclusive. This is meant for quick processing and does not perform any perceptual encoding. See the images documentation for more
- Added a method to Frink's VoxelArray class, strokeZTapered which allows drawing in 3-D along a polyline or polygon with a tapered tool. See Frink's 3-D routines
- Updated Historical British Price Data for final data from 2020
- Added polygon.isInside[x, y] method to test if a point is inside a polygon using the even-odd rule. See Polygon Methods for more information
