Overview

TidyMyDesktop is a easy and convenient app that organizes your computer desktop and keeps your desktop clean every day. It automatically moves your desktop files to another storage place and provides a status menu for quick access to all desktop files. It does a decent job but isn't as intuitive as i would like, where does it actually keep the files?

I realise i didn't put anything for the developer. I have gone back to declutter, mainly because I can effect how it stores my files and which groups. If TMD had this facility it would make it 100% better. In the present iteration I found myself struggling to find things. In Declutter I can have a folder for pdfs, one for weblog files, one for office files, and so on just as i want. Is till think this is a good app but...

Warning: deleting an item does not transfer it to the trash but deletes it immediately!!!

The program works well but there are some features that are missing: - Multiple selection - Ability to hide the Dock icon - Filtered views I hope they will be implemented in the future ...
