Cannot believe this application doesn't allow to display °C only. Sorry but °F doesn't mean anything to me and is only taking away precious menu bar estate.

I’m most unimpressed. The weather symbol is always a question mark, and after working for a week the temperature now says 32 even though it’s 91.

Is there a way to get Weatherman to display something other than a QUESTION MARK in the menubar, like say an icon that imparts something about the current conditions? Maybe a sun emoji or a raincloud, or is that beyond this app’s capabilities?

I guess the developer wrote this app for his village population and not for the world wide web.

I agree - it is the most narrow minded instance I have seen in software for a very long time. Developer - nearly every nation outside of the United States uses the metric system. Why the hell do we want to see an old, long superseded temperature scale displayed in our menu bar?

More importantly - why would you deliberately cripple your software by limiting sales to US citizens only?? Just in case you skipped this lesson in school: US population - approx 322 million, Global population - 7.3 billion.

Doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out where the greatest revenue potential will come from.... For my part, it's deleted.

One of favorite features of WeatherMan's is the fact it display BOTH F° AND C°!

As an American., yes and our antiquated units of measurement, i've never really understood centigrade. Over time, Weatherman has helped me get a better feel for it. I travel internationally often, so it's nice to have both temperatures for reference.

If you only want ONE temperature unit displayed, there are plenty of other temperature apps out there..

As with my previous post, I cannot update to version 2.7.1 on my mac running OS 10.6.8 despite what it says in the description on MacUpdate. I have never received any response from the developer. Dean, are you listening?

I tried to update ver. 2.6..1 to the new 2.7 on my mac running OS 10.6.8 The application was installed in my applications folder but it wouldn't launch. Luckily I had a back-up and restored a functioning ver.2.6.1

Does anyone know if After Ten Software is still in business? My WeatherMan sometimes quits unexpectedly under Yosemite. I have emailed the company with information about the crashes but have not received any answers. I hope it is still being developed. It is the best Menu Bar weather app going, in my opinion.

Yes, I have the same problem. Every 12 or sometimes 24 hours it crashes? Never did this before Yosemite! :(
Love the program.
