Infix Pro overview

Infix Pro works like a normal word processor, so it’s really easy to use. It’s easy and quick - change text, fonts, images and more. No interface gimmicks, no ribbons! Change a single word, a paragraph, or an entire page. Infix Pro covers your back, reflowing and reformatting text to keep it looking good. Once you’ve saved a file, you can’t even tell it’s been edited. It has advanced Find and Replace, Translation, Bates numbering, OCR, Headers & Footers... Infix offers powerful tools designed to solve real-world PDF problems.

Full pricing information can be found here.

What’s new in version 7.6.9

  • ICE-73 - Changing font-size of tabbed text doesn't reflow correctly
  • ICE-72 - Tabs ignored during copy/paste
  • ICE-71 - Tab gaps between table cells were causing lines to break
  • z4756 - Galley resize causes bad reflow of multi-tab lines

As stated earlier, we're diving into total craziness. Crossover Wrapper for a bloated 1,5 Gb just for a little text editor ? And using a package installer ? Seriously you should PAY people for using this.

I urge to advise you all, to stay away from this piece of junk... Not only this app is not even comparable to PDFPen Pro, bau calling it a mac application is just like adding insults to injury. How dare you... What kind of developer would put on market a wine-bottled application and have the guts to call it Mac software, ask money for it, and think someone would ever download on his drive a huge 1GB+ which offer really nothing more then most of all already present on the market? NOT to mention the horrible interface..... Good luck!

I do not like Microsoft Office yet when you buy it's subscription at only a couple of cents more than Infix you get a vast array of apps. The support is usually excellent. Infix offers very little and is in the end horribly expensive in the long run! Worse yet, though it claims to be a Mac app it still smacks of being a Windows app sneaked into the Mac OS. Bottomline, we do not need another subscription app that is deficient in functionalists and interface. Let's face it look at LibreOffice ...it is free and amazing!

When the dev is too lazy to create and upload Mac screen shots to a Mac site, and relies on their crappy PC screen shots, then I wouldn't trust the port of the PC app with all its underlined characters, and other windoze baggage.

Love the $9.99 pricing! Here's what it says when one gets to their website: "Editing PDF is Plain Sailing with Infix 7 Try It For Free! Buy from $29"
