The menu bar ticker doesn't play well with Bartender – apparently by an accidental wrong setting and likely easy to fix. However, no response from the devs whatsoever, so that's a no buy for me at this point.
Nice app but it is really missing an export/import portfolio function and alerts.
Tried contacting their support multiple times but no reply, I really hope the app has not been abandoned.
Transferring your portfolio can be done manually though: all is stored in the following file: /Library/Containers/com.app.stocks/Data/Library/Application Support/com.app.stocks/sfm.db
Just transfer that file to the other computer.
It was great until it developed an issue with loading. In the last few months it decided when and when not to open. Deleting and re downloading the app sometimes fixes the issue although wipes all data. Sometimes it will open a week later. Very frustrating. They claim support response within 24hrs but usually 10 minutes. They have never replied to any of my emails. Update says it's fixed loading issues, this is not true. Do not waste your money on this app.
Launches, but hangs with spinning beach ball after loading the main window and menu bar item---every time (OS X 10.11.6). Can't access anything in the app and need to force-quit. Will have to look for another app.
