D/l the app while free in MAS as noted earlier today. Installed and tried to work out how to use it. No documentation, no guides, no handy help info available. Nothing intuitive in terms of setup or configuration. Too many times I went 'huh?' or worse left me a simple choice - removed from my Mac. YMMV but for me this is a non-starter. Been using Macs since mid-80s, so I have a few years of GUI/UX background! Recommend FinderPop as appropriate alternative.

Always loved FinderPop, but is it still a thing? It works by injection, so you need to disable SIP, which is really not recommended. You should only have to dsiable SIP once to install, as e.g. SIMBL for cDock. As for FinderPop, the forums are gone, and so is the beta channel. I think the project has been abandoned. Or am I wrong?

RIP FinderPop - alas is true. I am using it on High Sierra with SIP disabled. FP fora are archived, no further devt of FP - very sad. Agree with Turley Mac OSX Finder slowly becoming IOS
Alternative to FinderPop may be Accessible - am testing at the moment.

@ Tlance
There's a v2.5.9beta available here: http://www.finderpop.com/fnarr/fp/t_348.html (with some workarounds to make it work in recent OSes)
Unfortunately, Turly is retiring: http://www.finderpop.com/fnarr/fp/

I used FinderPop back in the day before we had two button mice. I still use DragThing.

Currently free in MAS. Have d/l the app to try and see if it works for my workflow. Can't hurt to try when it's free!
