Knight Rider KITT Scanner is a screensaver based on the original Knight Rider television series. It features the scanner bar with a red light that moves from side to side, giving the impression that KITT is scanning its environment, as it did in the series.

Works great (tested on 10.9) but as an old K.I.T.T. fan I have to say, that the scanner doesn’t look right. The movement is not as fluid, especially when the light reaches the left and right border,the speed doesn’t match and the persistence which adds to the fluidity isn’t the same.
So the idea of this screensaver is fantastic but I would like it ten times a much, if it could simulate the original scanner behavior.

Its cool. Works with 10.8.5 too even though it says 10.9+
