It worked fine in my 10.8 system. I have been using it for 3 months. I should say that it is not the best at present but it has potential to be a good alternative to Photoshop in the future. The developer upgraded the app every two weeks and added new features to it. Crashing sometimes but it doesn't affect the working on it.

I do not se Pixelstyle as a Photoshop or Lightroom replacement and that's good. PixelStyle is meant for a novice like me that never have the chance to study graphics design. . But one irritating issue. The scroll function on my Magic mouse 2 make the image zoom up and down, totally out of control.. A quick click on 'Zoom to actual size' may stop it until it get out of control again. Maybe a update one day will stop the problem. Besides this, PixelStyle works great.

While its not bad, its not a replacement for PhotoShop or even Adobe elements. Its size because of the small app size and is responsive but the tools are messy and don't work as good. If you REALLY don't want to spend much money, this will do 90% of the job.

Sorry for the trouble. This program is designed to be simple to use. It will be highly appreciated if you could tell us what tools are not working to your expectations. We'll work on it soon.

PixelStyle is really an alternative to PhotoShop, it has a plenty of functions. I like the brushes. I don't use it for long, but it has already helped me to make several excellent compositions. One of the greatest features - the ability to use the Touch trackpad for highlighting sensitivity. Really good photo editor.
