The best E-reader app for Mac ever , it combines my PDFs, notes and mindmaps about the topic all in one place with an excellent powerful tools , this application is outstanding for me as a student to have , also the flash cards , hashtags and annotation features is killing features to make margin note the best all in one study and work tool for professionals and to increase productivity and save time , deserves 5 stars with no doubt and highly recommend it .

The app is a very good idea, but has many implementation issues. Today I have almost 25% of my books and annotations that do not sync back and forth between iPad and Mac. And the support is far from helpful.

From developer's website: Please be noted that MarginNote will no longer support Dropbox but will support WebDav in the future. Dropbox users can switch to iCloud for syncing and backup.
Really bad move by this developer. Dropbox is the standard for syncing, not iCloud. Plus, iClouds syncing is dodgy, at best, while Dropbox has always worked for me.

MarginNote is definitely the best study APP I have ever used. I scored my highest GPA in my university during the first semester that I started to use this APP. I could easily take notes during my lecture, and also record down my lecturer's voice when I do not have enough time to type down everything. I could also easily copy the information that I found online into the app to help me understand better. Not to mention the revision cards function also assist me to revise regularly and everywhere, even during the short period that I am waiting for a bus! Love this app! Certainly become the No.1 study tool!

This app is very effective tool!
Simply the most useful software out there, regardless of your area of interest or professional need.I strongly suggest that this app can and Evernote depth integration.For example, Evernote's document can be pushed directly into marginnote epub format.

Before someone recommended MN to me, I often forgot what I read, and I don't have an confidence if I can become an intelligent person. But now combining MN with anki, I can do many Q&A cards which enhanced what I thought and then review them. Then, I can talk with my friends about what I have read, also I can cite them in my blog. MN changed me a lot.

I'm a big fan of marginnote.I started to use it last year,it totally change my method of reading.I had use many PDF apps before I started use marginnote,they can't make me study efficiently.And marginnote change the confusing situation.I fond of its function of take notes,it not only can analyze and classify my notes,but also can relate my notes like mindmap.I also like its connection with anki,I can use anki to remember the knowledge that i want to learn.I think it's the best reading app I've used.

This application is wonderful, difficult to describe how brilliant is the idea of being able to study for it in a didactic, intuitive and integrated way with the devices! In addition, the developer support is as wonderful as the application, the team is always attentive to the suggestions and criticisms for the improvement of the App and always bring news. I'm a fan. I've never regretted buying MarginNote and used it every day to study every device I own. Super I recommend, without fear of making a mistake.

Amazing app! Thank you Min! I use this app every day. The ability to link source material from various books/urls/etc. is wonderful. The implementation with my Apple Pencil is also great. Markup documents with ease and then organize my thoughts with the 'mind map'. This is truly an indispensable tool for all serious students. I should be selling this thing! I tell all my friends about it because there is really nothing like it on the market. Also, one very pleasant surprise is that my suggestions were responded to and developed - I mean - they ACTUALLY wrote back immediately and soon thereafter implemented my suggestion! AMAZING app folks! Worth every penny!

This is a really innovative app that helped me A_LOT during my exams session. Parsing several textbooks in one aggregate mindmap helped me to ace several math & finance related exams in shortest time. On one of them I scored double as much as the year before (when I eventually failed it) while in total I spent around 4 days using this iOS app solely.
It is just incredible how the learning process MarginNote helps to organize is aligned with natural learning process of human brain.
One should definitely give it a try.

It's my go-to ebooks app. I do a lot of annotation and sub-annotation that I can't do with other ebook apps. easy to use and they are always improving it. I love the syntonization ability. I have an iPhone and a 9.7 pro as well as a 22. pro iPads. I use them all and syncing is VERY important. Don't let this one pass you by. At least DL it to IOS.

This is a pre-eminent app for both reading and studying.
One of the most powerful and distinguish features of the app is to transform what you learnt from the books into a mind-map or outliner, while, in turn, you can click the map or outliner to go back to the page where you just read.
You can also recite the knowledge cards which you built while reading like any other memory apps.
It's worthwhile to take 1~2 hours to fully learn how to use it.

I love to read and learn and this app is very good for in-depth reading and learning, especially for PDF and EPUB documents but it has a learning curve before you can enjoy all the features like Q&A, flashcards and hashtags.
