  • An issue with location search results not appearing.
  • An issue with undo coalescing when pasting text into text entry areas and using the macOS undo/redo functionality.
  • When viewing the details of a post shared in a conversation, and then deleting that post, popping back to the conversation will immediately update to remove the now non-existent shared post.
  • An upload issue when failing to convert the color space of source items.

Most helpful

looks all you can do with the free version is browse images and give likes for anything else, even just to leave a comment, you have to pay 9.99 for the Pro upgrade :-/

Bad money spent, APP does not work "login error", there is no online assistance. I'm more than 3 hours trying to turn on the APP always errors upon errors Very bad experience, DO NOT BUY. We who spend the money are left with nothing.

It's been really disappointing. Ripped off from the app store versions which doesn't work - neither did the migration to the Flume store pro version so ended up paying top dollar for both. Flume now keeps crashing and NO SUPPORT WHATSOEVER. They have the platforms in support though no responses​ after 2 submissions. Needs reporting.

Once I installed the newest update, the application won't respond when I've tried to open it. I've tried quitting the app and opening it again, but that won't work.

absolute crap. version 2.8.6 crashes constantly. even gets an error when publishing images or videos. AND THAT IS WHAT THS WHAT THE SOFTWARE IS SUPPOSED TO DO!!! a complete piece of garbage. v2.8.5 worked at least. the company HAS NO SUPPORT AT ALL. no even an email address to submit your requests. only recommend it to harm somebody.

We monitor all failed uploads and anonymous crash reports are automatically submitted. If you've received a crash, you're unfortunately in the very unlucky 0.045% of users having an issue with v2.8.6. Most of these issues have already been resolved for the next update which will be available soon.

In addition, if you're having a failed upload, you're in the unlucky 0.207605926% of users that are having an issue with uploading posts. Some solutions to the most common issues are already noted, eg. https://support.flumeapp.com/article/72-unknown-server-error-alert-when-uploading

In fact, based off your description, I would fathom you are using an older macOS version (older than macOS 10.12.6) which does not understand the colour profile information embedded in your photos that came from another device that you shared via AirDrop (iPhone 7 or later for example). A workaround is posted in the previous link if that is the case (and it does sound like it is).

In addition to the fact the Support Portal is linked in countless places and your problem is quite likely answered by that link above, you could type the words "email", "contact" or even "sdfsfd" into the big search box on our Support Portal, which would easily get you to https://support.flumeapp.com/article/53-how-can-i-contact-you

Unfortunately for a one-time purchase price of $10, it's absolutely unfeasible to offer you 24/7 support. This is an independent project, developed, maintained and supported by just one person. Please keep that in mind, and refrain from suggesting self-harm.

Are there some plans in the future to incorporate a filter to eliminate the SPAM that Instagram is pushing so we can get back to an App that made the entire experience pleasant? At this point it's easier and more productive to login through a web browser where ads don't exist.

I bought Flume a few years ago, via the in-app store in the free version (so I didn't get a license code: it was activated within the app). Then it crashed, updated and didn't accept my Pro license anymore. Then I had to 'migrate' to the Mac-appstore version. Didn't work at all; migration not accepted. Now I can't even open the free version as it keeps yelling at me 'Oops, your session has run out' (or something like that). I don't even dare to open it anymore, because I can't stopp the app from yelling the above, even if I click a million times op OK. I have a MacBook Pro (10.11.2 El Capitan). I'm quite annoyed that I bought an app and not even the free version seems to work anymore. And Flume Support isn't contactable at all. Bad, bad thing, this Flume.

Please do not request support on MacUpdate, as you can clearly see by the delay from your message to the time that we've seen this, 4 months have passed, whereas we respond to support requests typically within 24 hours when using the above contact channel.

In any case, the issue you describe should be resolved in the latest update, and the App Store migration process still works so you should still be able to migrate your licence when following all instructions provided.

Hey guys I can't seem to contact you but the app literally won't let me login on my new MacBook, do you know why this is? Can I please have some assistance? Thank you!! It simply just loads indefinitely after I enter my login details. Thank you!

I have two questions for the developers of this app: 1. In either the free or paid upgrade version, does your app allow the user to edit the captions of already-uploaded images from an iMac desktop? 2. In either the free or paid upgrade version, does your app allow the user to delete already-uploaded images from their Instagram account from the iMac desktop? Uplet does not appear to have either of these two important and useful features, which is why I will not purchase it. I hope your app offers these two options.

Flume is the entire Instagram experience on your Mac and contains so many features you won't find in any of the other Instagram apps that we'd run out of space listing them all.

Flume Pro unlocks 2 features - adding more than one account, and allowing you to upload. Everything else is available in the free download (including the two features you ask about).

Thank you for your response regarding my two questions. I appreciate it. Clearly, your app possesses some major advantages over Uplet. In fact, I just downloaded and installed Flume, and then upgraded to the Pro version.

I do have a feature request: It would really be great if you could incorporate a feature whereby the user can view and list their uploads by different criteria, such as by date uploaded -- ascending or descending -- or by the first few words in the caption. In my case, I upload a lot of original poetry, and the first words in each of my captions is thus the actual name of the poem. So, for example, I could type in the name of a particular poem, and Flume would immediately take me to that specific graphic. It would be quite a time saver, instead of having to scroll through hundreds of my graphics in order to find what I am looking for.
