Dual-pane file manager.

Overview

Commander One PRO Pack is a dual-pane file manager for OS X based on Swift, which allows you to manage your files in the best possible way. It allows you to see all hidden files on your Mac, you can change the name of any file or folder when moving it, work with local and network drives. Program also offers you the Brief Mode, so you could see and manage multiple files and folders at once. You can also use various color themes created by us to personalize your Commander One and tune your very own for unique appearance.

You will get the dual-pane interface for easy moving and copying files from one place to another; multi-tab browsing for eliminating clutter; advanced search for locating files quickly by name or content plus Spotlight search; file operations queueing, hotkeys setup for any action, ZIP support with compressing, extracting and full access, preview multiple types of files incl. binary and hex.

I love the idea & it's a great tool. I'm using it for FTP, Amazon S3 and cloud storage such as Google and Dropbox. As an alternative to finder, it's great. The UI is 'busy', and needs to be, to accommodate the many features it offers. Commander One works well in Mojave without compromising the system's integrity and is a great all-round find/ search tool. Nice!

Hi, let me assure you that Commander One app does not have any malware. Some antivirus programs now have false positive when Commander One is checked by it due to hash sum. We have already addressed this issue with false alerts to antivirus products providers.

FYI: the answer we received from the Avast specialist: "I checked this problem and the detection "MacOS:Bundlore-CU [PUP]" was disabled completely on Aug/21/2019. The VirusTotal report was actually quite outdated and when I re-analyzed the file, it is not detected by Avast anymore: https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/e46f8b129d55fda98f762ab087620daa9e43559a3afd8f187791c445d66d4da0/detection".

Works wery well, especially for managing files on an android phone. This app is the best one for MTP devices and OSX, even though a syncing function is missing (it's possible with rsync via the built-in terminal, but it's not very funny).

Like the concept, fairly ease of use. Decent Finder alternative for moving things around. An issue for me is that in CO V 1.2 my MTP device is always recognised, which is no longer the case in CO V 1.7 so I stick to V 1.2

I have tried many file managers and found that Commander One PRO fits me best. SFTP/FTP, Cloud services, Android browser, Archiver and background copying are the features that made me choose it. Great file manager!

Used Commander One for about a year quite regularly. It's definitively one of the better dual panel file managers out there. Some unique features, like iOS and Android file system browsing. Some things I don't like: - The interface is bloated. You can remove most of the distracting UI elements, but still room to improve. - UI in general. Example: Select multiple folders, execute "Folder Size" from menu. You'd expect that it will calculate the size of all selected folders? Wrong, just the one under the cursor. - Some unintuitive keyboard shortcuts. Just an example: Cmd+F opens the connections manager. Cmd+F should nowadays be search, even though it was Opt+F7 in the old days in TC. - The terminal emulation. Not well integrated, keyboard navigation between panels and terminal input should be really optimized. - It crashes occasionally, mostly when copying many files. I don't do that with C1 any more. Huge bummer.

Hi. Have you got it working with an Android phone? I got an LG G5 with Android 7 and found that Android File Transfer no longer sees or mounts the phone; I had an LG G3 with Android 6 before and it worked fine. When I open Commander One, it doesn't see my G5. I have a Macbook Air with El Capitan.

I've uninstalled all other similar software and reinstalled Commander One, but no change. It simply doesn't see or mount the phone. Bummer, as that's why I bought the app. I've contacted customer support a couple times but they haven't replied. Seems like some people have reported it working. No ideas at this point.

Unfortunately not true. I already tried all of those things and Commander One still doesn't see my phone. I got the same advice from customer support, which also asked for a Console report, which I sent but never got a reply about. What else can you do? The app simply does not recognize my phone. It does nothing.
At this point, if possible I'd like to hear from people who have the app working with their Android phones.

Also, try to uninstall LG driver for Mac OS X (LG United Mobile Mac) with the install .dmg file. Then turn on USB debugging and re-launch your machine.

Let us know the results or send the report to our support. We're waiting for your email. Thank you!

Great file manager - however App Store version notoriously lags behind. It would be so nice to have it updated as well.
