Shady business practices at Easy Cut. The license is only valid on a single machine and is NOT TRANSFERRABLE. So if you have a hardware issue you need to buy another license.
In my case, I upgraded my MacOS and chose to do a new install. EasyCut Support told me it's too bad and to purchase another license because I wasn't able to deactivate my old computer before it crashed.
