The idea of creating an application capable of capturing the Mac screen is great. I used it to take screenshots for one of my presentations and I must admit it is far more convenient than the default combination of Command + Shift + 3 (or 4). And there are lots of other benefits.
- The design is really user-friendly. Just 4 tabs, each responsible for its specific feature (capturing screen, part of screen or a screen of the application user selects).
- The app is lightning-fast. It opens up immediately after you click on its icon.
- It captures videos, which can be shared with friends.
- One can manually choose the resolution of the captured video.
As to the drawbacks, so far, I've managed to find only one: the supported languages include only English and Chinese. In order to make Screen Capture Pro more popular among the users worldwide, you need to add some more languages.
