iCloudStatus is the missing piece of OS X 10.10 Yosemite that shows a status icon for iCloud Drive right in your menu bar so there's no more digging around in the Finder to see when your files have been uploaded. When you add files to iCloud Drive, iCloudStatus will stealthily detect the changes and show you how much progress has been made, then notify you when it's finished. Clicking on the iCloud Drive status icon brings up a popup window containing other useful information such as:
- List of all active transfers and their current progress
- History log of all transfers so you know what files where
- Important fix for a crash upon startup on macOS Sierra. All users that plan to upgrade to the new OS should install this version.
- Text field which shows the amount of disk space used in the iCloud Drive folder on the disk local disk. Note that this value may not match what is shown in the Finder exactly but is close (type the "man du" command in the terminal for more
- OS X 10.10 or later
