I have always been skeptic about software that can eliminate noise from photos. However, my impression with Noiseless Pro was very positive and after trying the DEMO I proceeded with buying it. Likewise other Macphun software I own, this is another trustworthy application I added to my library. This is a program that contrary to its name will make a lot of noise in the industry! Seeing is believing!

If I select a noisy part of an image and apply Noiseless to it, it leaves behind a mess where the selection lines were. Until this update there were large black marks there. The update now leaves white lines where the selection lines were. MacPhun say they can not reproduce this despite my showing them exactly what I mean. I don't think there is anything unique about my system. So would someone please select a part of an image - sky is good - run Noiseless and see if it works fine or leaves artefacts on the selection lines. I'd love to know others' experience. Thanks.

I just tested this for you (better late than never - or not).
I have never before selected part of an image to use the filter on - I applied it to entire images. Usually when there's noise it's everywhere.

Found this image in my wallpaper folder and it's a perfect test subject. https://goo.gl/g43jCZ

I selected part of the sky including the moon and applied Lightest, Light and Medium presets in three separate tests. The results were interesting: When presets were applied at their default settings of 100%, all left faint white borders at the edges. But when applied at 50% the borders blended in much better, probably more like what you're wanting.

This follows my feeling about the presets in general, which is that 100% SUCKS. I've previously complained to the dev. that the preset defaults should be 50% because 100% makes everything look awful.

Lastly I tried Topaz DeNoise. The Light and Moderate filters left no visible outlines, but of course it was still easy to detect the "denoised" area because the clear pixels won't blend seamlessly with the noisy ones.

I suggest applying noise filters to the entire image for best results, otherwise blending becomes an issue that may be even worse than the noise.

I used several similar app and this is the only that creates great results. Although a bit expensive, if you need a pro level denoiser, try this before buying something else.

Macphun’s latest app offerings, Noiseless and Noiseless Pro, slot neatly into their long line of approachable photo editing utilities. Scrolling through the endless Camera Uploads folder in my Dropbox, I came across pockets of dim photo thumbnails from lowly lit nights out – concerts, birthdays, dinners. I made my first realization: I should take better photos. Most of these photos were riddled with coarse artifacts that turned flat surfaces into gravelly messes. Until I get a chance to do a better job, Macphun has offered up a tool that will turn grainy nights out into smoothed over memories. Noiseless Pro confidently leverages its ability to deliver clear results from the moment you launch the app. As soon as you load your first photo, you’re presented with a slider that you can drag back and forth to deliver a live before-and-after. It feels almost like a dare. After only a few seconds it was clear that my photos were improving, and running through some of the presets delivered quick inspiration; fine-grained adjustments are a click away, even though you won’t likely be disappointed with the presets. The initial interface pulls you in and makes you truly believe in the app, but I didn’t find it to be the most efficient way of using it. Yet, within minutes I had tweaked the app to my liking, and manipulating photos felt like an extension of my mind. The smooth transition from wondering what’s the point to getting exactly the point is made throughout the app. And with the quality of product output by the standalone app, using it as a plugin, as is offered by Noiseless Pro, in a full photo editing app gives an even faster track to smooth photos without looking pasty and over processed. Noiseless Pro offers a one-click rescue option for the photos I’ve taken that seemed like such great ideas at the time but were hopelessly poorly lit. Thanks, Macphun, for clearing up some cloudy memories.

Unfortunately I can confirm the Noiseless CK module crashes my mac almost every time when processing on Saving - I've sent the crash report to Apple multiple times.

Got the DEMO and pre-ordered from the site. Sadly I've missed the MU promo, but the DEMO worked great for me and I am okey to wait another day and get the full version. I really like how it works with night yellow light photos and faces.

I plan to buy it now. Will we get the software right away or will have to wait until the release date, just like those who purchase from the developer's site? If the latter, what's the actual DEAL then?

Downloaded the demo, and playing with it right now. The results are pretty impressive and I am considering to purchase it from MU. Just wished they ran the promo for longer.
