AirVolume makes the volume control of AirPlay a seamless process. Ordinarily, the volume keys on your Mac's keyboard adjust the system volume. AirVolume uses your volume keys to adjust the volume in iTunes, but only when iTunes is playing via AirPlay. When iTunes isn't playing via AirPlay, AirVolume does nothing and your volume keys adjust the system volume as normal.
