Announce1.2.1

09 April 2015

Send multiple emails individually (beta).

Overview

Announce is the perfect solution if you wish to merge a mailing list and other data with a simple (plain text) template, and automate the sending of individual emails:

  • Send multiple emails using a data file (csv) and template (txt)
  • Insert fields from the data file into the body of your email
  • Preview each email
  • No setting up to do - choose from accounts already set up in Apple Mail
  • Sends each email individually with an optional delay between each

This app is bundled with Organise 8 which outputs a filtered selection of your contacts in the correct format for Announce to use.

What's new in Announce

Version 1.2.1:
  • Fixes bug which was preventing emails from sending if template contained double-quote character

Great tool. I was looking for something simple like this to help me automate messages when students want more information on our graduate program. Really simple to use. Two minor nit-picky points: (1) The e-mail field has to be "email" and not "Email" - case insensitivity would *really* help. (2) It would be awesome if you could have an option to queue the messages (as drafts) but not send them. Sometimes it's nice with smaller batches (e.g., 10-20) to add some personal notes.
