I'm learning Kotlin to do some Android development for a science project, and Android Studio is really an amazing IDE. A lot to learn (the Android API is a convoluted behemoth), but this does a great job of making sure all methods and properties in the API are fully discoverable, really aiding progress. Nice visual layout tools and device emulation. Very customisable. Jetbrains are top of their game for IDE development.
