MathMod overview
MathMod is mathematical software for visualizing and animating parametric and implicit surfaces. It is an extension/rewrite of the K3DSurf project. It supports 3D/4D plotting and animation, a scripting language, a JSON file format with a large set of scripted examples, and an OBJ output file of the 3D mesh.

What’s new in version 11.1
Version 11.1:
- Support of graphing functions with complex numbers Z=u+iv in 3D and 4D spaces (demo scripts: "Complex3D_xx" and "Complex4D_Saddle")
- Add: support for HSV (hue, saturation, lightness) coloring model (script: "Complex_Domain_Coloring") , Texture definitions (RGB and HSV) for parametric surfaces can now be expressed as functions of complex numbers and a software implementation for the OpenGL variable gl_FrontFacing (fixed an issue with GPU drivers on MacOSX Catalina)
- Bug-fixes, code optimization and documentation update.

Having been a longtime fan of K3DSurf, I was hoping this would come about. Keeping a VM with an older version of the OS just to run this app was getting a bit old. ;-)

Wow, I like this software very much. Easy to use and very fast here on OS 10.9.3. Very good and many examples and a real good visualization make this a real important software for me. A manual or some further hints would be great but I am sure they will come soon or later. A big thanks to the developers.
