Are you at any time considering a "Demo" –– you know, the way shareware was intended to be distributed? "Shareware is basically "try before you buy" software. Unlike software marketed through normal retail channels, where you are forced to pay for the product before you've even seen it, the shareware concept lets you try a program for a period of time before you buy it. Once you have tried a shareware program, you know whether it will meet your needs before you pay for it. Shareware programs are just like programs you find in major stores, catalogs, and other places where people purchase software - except you get to use them, on your own computer, before paying for them." –– Copyright © PC Shareware, Inc

OK, this is very strange: I see an update for this app on MacUpdate on 7/31. I go to fire up my current app to see what version it is, and my app won't launch. It gets so weird that the Finder finally reports it's damaged and should be deleted and re-downloaded from the App Store. I put it in the trash and go to the App Store, but it's not there! The link in MU takes me to the store where I get a message it's not available in my country. What?? I have this app on my phone, my iPad and my Mac (I paid for each so I could share across machines). Now it's gone? For the final insult, a visit to the developer's web site shows no sign of the app there, either. What gives???

Fixed! I was very impressed with the speed of response by the author. I contacted him yesterday and within minutes he replied. There was an issue with the Apple Store and receipts. This update seems to have fixed it, and the updated version works just fine. Thanks, Pascal!

Does one license ($4.99) cover all of my Macs?

It's sold exclusively in the Mac Crap Store, so you're covered by Apple's license which extends to five of your computers.

No trial from the dev though, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I would avoid.

Great app but with a big problem. iCloud sync does not work. I have both Mac and iOS versions. I cannot sync between any of the versions. Tried uninstalling and re-installing to no avail. Tried contacting support also to no avail.

I would have thought the 7 months I gave you was plenty of time for you to reply to my question about putting out a demo.

Seems I was as wrong with that hunch. Seriously, may I ask once more about the demo?

Hi Annie-Walker,

have you considered to write this question directly to the developer? This is an App distributed through the App Store and I do not think that developers scan posts like this in all metadirectories just to give answers to specific posts.

Furthermore: why do you think the developer should offer a demo when he choose to distribute the app through the app store?

Best Regards,

Lobotomo Software's (finally) reply to my legit question proves to me without a doubt what a POS company this really is.

Sorry I ever asked the question.
