LockIt password-protects any OS X application from unauthorized usage without modifying anything in your system settings and/or applications. It is safe to use!

Wow, how could I have missed this app before. Really works very well to make apps start up after entering a password. This should be a default option in macOS.

Handy tool to prevent apps to launch without a password. Works well if more users use one account.
Feature request: schedules would be an awesome addition.
