SimCity overview
SimCity is an online-based city-building simulation game. Take advantage of deep, detailed information and statistics to create and understand the city you desire. Play a single city or up to 16 cities at once and track population, wealth, education and happiness across your region -- which can, for the first time, feature live simulations run by users around the world in the new multiplayer mode.
What’s new in version 7.0
Version 7.0:
- A new tool to create bridges, overpasses, and tunnels when you draw roads.
- New tree tools let you place individual trees along city roads. This tool is located at the end of the Nature Parks menu.
- Traffic behavior improved to reduce traffic jams caused by all vehicles converging in one spot. This affects all vehicles.
- Vehicles now accelerate and decelerate faster, improving traffic flow.
- Sports parks are now accepting Sims 24 hours a day.
- Airship passenger trips should now be correctly calculated over multiple days.
- Freight trucks now only leave factories if they have a valid delivery destination.
- When warranted, freight trucks now correctly go back to the factory instead of leaving the city
- Improved instances where terrain covers sections of roads while the camera is zoomed out.

This game made history, and now it's totally new and very, very addictive! With latest updates you can also play it offline, without being connected :)

Was really surprised to see this run on an old MacPro, but it did beautifully. Only a few glitches, mostly with the tutorials. So, for those not sure if it will run, here are some specs that do run, and they run great here.
MacPro 2,1 2x 3.0GHz., 16GB ram, ATI 5770 (1GB) with 2x 24" screens.
The game is worth it, despite the trials and tribulations getting it to market.

Has anyone gotten this to run on an older MacPro with good specs (good video card HD5770, ram, etc).
