Simple personal-library management.

Overview

My Library helps users manage the books in their library. The data saved for each book are title, author(s), medium (hardcover, paperback, ebook, etc.), if the book has been read or not, and a very short gist of the book. The user interface provides easy data entry, search for character strings, and sorting by title, author, medium, or read status.

I am a recent adopter of Paul's wonderful program, 'My Library'. After initially using the program, I contacted Paul with some minor suggestions to make the program even more useful. He responded very quickly and actually adopted 2 of the suggestions I made. I was using Delicious Library to maintain my substantial library but found that it is a little cumbersome and in some cases difficult to use. After using Paul's My Library and entering all my library I find that it provides a very clean and minimalistic application experience that is simple to use and very responsive. I might add that Paul is very responsive when contacted, something that also is a big plus for his program. I've looked for a program like this for a long time and had just about given up until I stumbled upon his program. I have nothing but positive feedback for both this program and Paul, it's developer. If you want a Library program to track your books, authors, and whether you've read them or not, this is the App for you !!

Wow! Just wow! The author of the description above is unfortunately a member of a dying breed: those who know that "data" is plural and who know that the singular of "media" is "medium." Well done, my friend.
